So one day I was wearing a pair of mint green jeans to my parents' house and my mom piped up:

Mom: Hey I have those same pants!

Me: Oh really??? *Surprised that my mom would actually buy stylish pants like moi*

Mom: YA! Did you get those from HMV????

Me: Uuuhhhhhh......

My Sister: Oh my GAWD, Mother. You got them from H&M.

Mom: Oh.

Me: Nice attempt at being cool though.

Fact: My mom will never be cool.
